The Pro Pretest is a comprehensive assessment tool provided by ABA Pro Builder. This full-length mock exam offers students an in-depth evaluation of their current knowledge and exam readiness. By taking this diagnostic test, students can gain valuable insights into their strengths and areas for improvement, setting the stage for their study journey. While overall and content area scores are provided on this assessment, specific item feedback is not provided until completion of the Post-test.

The Nine Content Area Pro Pack Modules contain meticulously curated study materials designed to help students dive deep into each content area of the BCBA® exam. Each module includes:

• Mission Fluency:
  • Digital see/say SAFMEDS (fluency flashcards) to build a firm and fluent foundation.
  • Matching key term quiz to assess your verbal competence.
• Mission Proficiency:
  • Ten petite mock exams (multiple choice) with detailed feedback. Each petite mock can be taken three times with unlimited review attempts. Content area Petite Mocks include 920+ total questions across 92 exams.
  • CA Mixed Practice set provides ten random items from the Petite Mock exams. Unlimited attempts allow you to practice as much as you need, and random item selection will keep you from memorizing question sequences.
• Mission Intel:
  • Recommended reading assignments. These assignments allow you to return to source material to study between Petite Mocks.
• Mission Resources:
  • Supplemental resources, including relevant EZ Study Sheets, BOOST Blogs, and BOOST U! podcast aim to make your studying easier and more efficient.

In both ABA Pro Builder and standalone Pro Packs, you can take content area petite mock exams up to three times. While these multiple attempts offer opportunities for improvement, exceeding three runs may lead to memorization of answers rather than understanding the content. It's worth noting that mixed practice in every content area pack and overall mixed practice in ABA Pro Builder allows for unlimited attempts.

There are two different mixed practice types in BOOST products. Mixed practice within each content area pro module provides unlimited attempts at all questions from the content area petite mocks (range 50-240 questions). This feature is present in ABA Pro Builder and the individual Pro Packs. The overall roulette-style Mixed Practice is a unique feature of ABA Pro Builder that allows students to put their knowledge to the test. With 920+ questions pulled from all nine content area modules accompanied by detailed feedback, students can sharpen their skills and prepare to tackle questions in a mixed order.

The Post-test is another full-length mock exam provided within ABA Pro Builder. After completing their study journey, students can use this exam to assess their progress and readiness for the certification exam. Comprehensive feedback is provided for every question and overall and content area scores.

Mock Exam 2 is what we call a generalization exam. It is the final data point in the ABA Pro Builder journey. Designed to simulate the exam experience, this test helps students solidify their knowledge and test-taking strategies.

The digital SAFMEDS provided by ABA Pro Builder are divided into each of the nine content areas, covering key terms relevant to each area of study.

The digital flashcards utilize a see/say format, where the student sees the definition or description of a term and says the corresponding term aloud. They can then flip the card to reveal the correct answer and mark their response as either correct or incorrect.

Yes, ABA Pro Builder offers a quiz function within each content area Pro Pack module. Students can test their knowledge through a matching task format, enhancing their understanding of key concepts in applied behavior analysis.

The Mock Exam 1 Pre-test, Mock Exam 1 Post-test, and Mock Exam 2 can all be taken once. Petite mock exams in each content area pro pack module can be completed three times each. The Mixed Practice Petite Mocks can be taken as many times as you like.

ABA Pro Builder is specifically designed for those studying for certification at the behavior analyst level (i.e., BCBA ®). The comprehensive content may also be beneficial for those studying for certification at the assistant level (BCaBA®). ABA Pro Builder’s content and focus is not appropriate for those studying for certification at the technician level (I.e., RBT®).
